When you are treated by our senior practitioner Simon Curtis MSc, BSc  (Hons) DO MIOA, you get the benefit of more than 20 years of intensive academic training, learning, and real world experience.

Simon began by gaining a BSc in Physiology from the University of London. Physiology is the science of how humans and other animals function in an integrated way and is the basis for many of the biological and clinical sciences.

Fascinated by what he learned while on this course, Simon then went on to study Osteopathy, graduating from the respected British School of Osteopathy in 1989. A special interest in pain and the body lead Simon to study for and in 1998 successfully complete an M.Sc in Neurophysiology.

Simon has continued to study ever since, refreshing and expanding both his practical and theoretical knowledge and expertise, most recently completing in 2012 the Irish Rugby Football Union accredited Standard Approach to Field Emergencies in Rugby or "SAFE Rugby" course to Level 2 Standard.

With his ethos for continuous professional learning and improvement, Simon has a long and sucessful career in education, teaching fellow Osteopaths, other health care professionals and students:

• Taught courses in Sports Injuries and in Human Physiology at a University in London.
• Held posts as lecturer and clinic tutor at the British School of Osteopathy for 10 years.
• Teaches to Senior and Post-Graduate Physical Therapy students.
• Lectured to Osteopathic groups throughout Ireland.
• Lectured to Chartered Physiotherapists in Women's Health Incontinence Group on “An Osteopathic Approach to Pelvic Problems in Women”
